- When the agreed action is overdue, send a short reminder about that specific step.
- If there is still no reply or progress, send a second follow-up on the agreed date, potentially through another available channel.
- After two unanswered follow-ups and the final response deadline, exit the active funnel and record the stalled step and reason in CRM.
Stop reminders when the action is completed. If they reply, pause reminders, address their question, and agree on the next step. Count attempts across channels; changing channels does not restart the sequence.
Use the agreed follow-up date. The final waiting period is still to be agreed.
Choose a channel
- Indeed: preferred for prospects already responsive there.
- Email: recaps, invitations, documents, and the fallback.
- LinkedIn: connect if needed, then message when available.
- Mobile message or call: if a number is available and the channel is appropriate.
Jack and Jill: start with email. Their LinkedIn profile provides an optional second route; connect and reference the introduction or first call. If the connection is pending, retain email as the fallback. A mobile number is not currently provided.
